[해석] 

최근의 보고서에서 묘사된 모든 안보 문제는 현실적으로 해결하기에 훨씬 더 어렵다.

[해설]

빈칸 뒤의 harder는 비교급이다. 비교급을 강조하는 부사(much, even, still, far, a lot) 중 하나가 나와야 한다. 그래서 (d)에 있는 much가 정답입니다. 해석은 다 "훨씬"으로 하면 된다. 

(a)harder에 이미 비교급이 걸려있기 때문에 more은 땡!

(b)very는 대표적으로 비교급을 강조할 수 없는 부사 땡!

(c) [too 형용사/부사 to R.V] 구조에서 형용사/부사자리에 비교급형태들어갈 수 없다. 그래서 땡!

(d)정답!

과거분사 후치수식으로 앞에 있는 명사를 수식해주고 있다.

정의 : 

The object of the dependent to-clause is 'raised' to become the subject of the main clause. 

종속절로 나온 to부정사구의 목적어가 상승되어 주절의 주어가 된다.

가주어 진주어 구문의 보어 자리에 difficult/hard/tough/easy/convenient/impossible 등의 어렵고 쉬운 정도를 나타내는 형용사가 나왔을 시에 가주어 it자리에 진주어 to부정사에 걸린 타동사 목적어가 상승(be raised)할 수 있다.
