영어 구문좀 질문드려요.;.;

rnd 에서 나온 지문인데요..;; 강의 안듣고 책만있어서,,,
독재생이라 딱히 질문할데가 없어서 여기다 질문할게요 ~~

1번.
small miseries, like small debts, hit us in so many place, and meet us at so many
turns and corners, that what they want in weight, they make up in number, and
render it less hazardous to stand the fire of one cannon ball than a volley
composed of such a shower of bullets

render 이후가 앞에 얘기를 비유적으로 표현한거 같은데 앞 내용이랑 어떻게 연결되는거죠??

밑줄친 부분에서 뭐가 비교되는거죠???

목적어 도치 찾기가 빡셌네요
what 절이 make의 목적어절로 사용되었는데 목적어 도치된 형태입니다
render 뒷부분은 방금 도치된 문장 SVO를 얘기하는 것 같네요(덜 위험해보이게 만드는것)

아래꺼는 해석자체가 어려워서 지금은 gg 치고 밥먹고와서 도전해볼게요.. so jealous is 의 is부터 어디에 걸리는 지 몰라서 해석이 막혓네요 밥먹고와서 다시 ㅎ
